Redone swivel chair

I sanded the paint and added 2 layers of homemade chalk paint (Oops paint from Home Depot and Plaster of Paris) to smooth out the paint since there was some chips in the original paint.

I sanded the seat and then painted it with a mix of silver blue and purple paint:

I kept adding more silver to this color and then I stained the wood with black stain (2 coats) and 2 coats of poly. Then I sprayed 3 coats of sealer over the paint.

Hanging Mirror

Primed it with white paint:

Painted the panels brown:

Painted over the brown with gold paint:

Crackle paint with glue. The gold really shows through when light hits it.

Old table turned chalkboard table

Before photos:

Put some layers of a off white Oops paint on it:

Added some blue to the Oops paint and painted the top. Then I mixed antique white and black acrylic paint for the legs:

I added chalkboard paint to the top:

This is what it looked like after the first horizontal layer:

I sanded and did another layer and it was still showing the original paint spots so I sanded it down again and did two layers of chalk paint and that seemed to do the trick. Then it was pretty much back to square one so I did two more layers and called it good:

My paint soaked through the tape and the tape tore up some of the paint so I did a coat of regular paint for both the blue and the gray. The gray got kinda on the dark side but I like it:

Next I waited 2 days and 'primed' the chalkboard by running white chalk all over it, wiping it in with a dry cloth, and then cleaning it with a damp cloth. After that I gave it a test run, I wrote on it, gave it a quick wipe with a dry cloth, and then with a wet cloth:

After wiping with a dry cloth:

After wiping with a wet cloth, brand new!

Then I put 3 layers of spray sealer on it:

And it's all done!
